10 Trader Joe’s Products We Can’t Do Without

I’ve been going to Trader Joe’s for years, but my obsession has recently worsened after I started dating someone who worked there. Since then, I have been shown a slew of products that I can’t live without. These time-saving, (yes, some are even calorie cutting!) foods have made their way into my fridge, and into my heart.

Cookie Butter

Cookie Butter is something that you might not know about if you don’t already shop at Trader Joe’s, but let me show you the path to absolute deliciousness. The Trader Joe’s website explains what Cookie Butter is in the simplest way: “Cookie Butter is, in the most simplistic terms, spreadable Speculoos cookies. Speculoos cookies are classic Belgian cookies with great crunch, and a slightly caramelized, almost-but-not-quite-gingerbread flavor.” YUM. It comes in both smooth and crunchy spreads, perfect to put on anything. I recently found that they have Cookie Butter Ice Cream, which is just as sinful as it sounds.

Chicago Popcorn

This is my favorite snack that Trader Joe’s has, hands down. This mix has both cheddar popcorn and caramel popcorn all thrown in one bag. It’s like those huge popcorn buckets, minus those annoying cardboard pieces that separate all the flavors. This personal bag is also a bargain at only $2.99. What a time to be alive.

3. White Pomegranate Tea

This tea is my go-to for the end of my night. It might be my love for anything pomegranate, but going to bed without a cup of this beforehand doesn’t feel right. Plus, have you seen the health benefits of pomegranates? Do yourself the favor and try this tea.

Ends and Pieces Bacon

To put it simply, I love bacon. If there was a way I could have an all bacon birthday cake, that’s what I would pick, every year. But, I digress. Trader Joe’s Ends & Pieces is the best bacon I’ve bought in the store. It’s flavor and how thick the slices of bacon are what make this one of the best bacon buys on the market. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go make some for Breakfast for Dinner night.

Mango Pineapple Salsa

I don’t condone lying, but when you’re hosting party and you’re completely lost, this is the salsa you can set out and say you made yourself while hiding the container so no one finds out your dirty little secret. The sweet flavor that packs a punch is perfect to serve with chips, but I’ve used it to make Mango Pineapple chicken. Anything I can snack on that I can also turn into a meal is a must-have in my fridge.

Pumpkin Collage

If you’re one of those people that religiously counts down until the day Starbucks gets their pumpkin spiced lattes back, this one on the list is for you. Your pumpkin dreams have come true, with Trader Joes having muffins, coffee (which is way cheaper to buy and make than going to Starbucks everyday!) cheesecake, ice cream, macaroons, and even a pumpkin body butter for you to get your fix during the fall.

Cowboy Bark

Sweet and salty, Cowboy Bark is a must try to anyone who is a first time Trader Joe’s shopper. Peanuts, cookie pieces, almonds, and pretzels are all set in slabs of dark chocolate, This snack is my thing to eat for an energy boost throughout the day, but is good enough to eat as dessert.

Greek Yogurt

Trader Joe’s has the best Greek yogurt flavors. Strawberry Vanilla, Apricot Mango, and Vanilla Bean are just a few of the flavors they offer. I usually take yogurt with me to work with some granola, so the fact that Trader Joe’s has the resealable yogurt containers is incredibly helpful on the go.

Mac & Cheese

9. Frozen Mac n’ Cheese

Okay, I know that frozen Mac and Cheese has a seriously bad reputation. But Trader Joe’s Mac ‘n Cheese will change anyone’s mind. It’s actually amazing. Even HuffPost Taste agrees, and provides these four easy hacks to upgrade this Mac and Cheese to another level of delicious.

Ancient Grain Pizza

Frozen pizza is another food that doesn’t exactly have the best reputation either, especially ones that are made with wheat flour. Well, this pizza is something that I find keeping in my freezer for those nights I’m dying for a slice, but don’t feel like getting out of bed. Throw this in the oven, and just twelve minutes later you have a pie that ‘s filling and didn’t require you to put pants on to get. Win, win.
