On Tuesday evening, American fans anxiously lingered on the edge of their seats as they watched the US men’s soccer team compete against Belgium in the World Cup 2014 quarterfinals. Unfortunately, Americans were left disappointed as Belgium secured two goals in overtime. Despite the rough circumstances of the US team being eliminated from the World Cup, Americans were able to indulge in the remarkable performance by US goalie, Tim Howard. Tim Howard was able to make 16 amazing saves during the match, setting a new record for the most goals saved in a World Cup match!
