ESCAPE MIAMI: 5 Five New Theme Parks to Visit in Florida
Written by S.Renée
Summer is half way over, but there’s still a chance to enjoy a sun-filled vacation, especially if you’re into overpriced hot dogs, outrageously long lines and onslaughts of eager children bum-rushing costumed cartoon characters for smiles, hugs, and the traditional photo op. Florida’s theme park infrastructure is getting a serious upgrade, including five new attractions – four in Orlando, and one in neighboring Winter Haven. Road trips to amusement parks are usual for a typical Miamian, but if you’re from out of state and are still looking to make summer vacay plans, viewing a few of these promotional teasers may help sway your decision. Besides, who doesn’t love spending a hour and a half in a line for a ride that lasts 30 seconds or less, albeit extremely thrilling and loads of fun? Happy riding!
