Fortunately for us, we had the opportunity to see Bonobo at Terminal West on September 30th. The night started with Atlanta’s own Martina McFlyyy, who’s smooth and sexy set paved the way for an evening of dancing.
McFlyyy’s set was followed up by Kastle, who spinned an enticing mix of electro-based house music, featuring plenty of soul to go around.
By the time Bonobo reached the stage, the crowd had gone from standing still to full-dance-mode. And Bonobo didn’t disappoint the dancing mass. His set was engaging and full of energy that kept the crowd going. The highlight of his appeal came from his unique stage lighting that moved through analog-esque sequences as the show progressed. Bonobo was able to harness the dance-appeal of EDM while maintaining some soul to his sound. The show was fun for the entire room, and we danced the night away right there along with everyone else.
