Sam Wrigley recently graduated from Farmouth University, and he is already making big moves in the furniture design industry. His business CRISSCROSS Furniture, launched on Kickstarter May 17th and competes with big furniture companies like IKEA— with its innovative take on flat-pack furniture. Most people in their lifetime have undergone the frustrations that come with moving heavy furniture from one space to the next, as well as the tediousness of assembling the parts. As the mastermind behind CRISSCROSS, Wrigley understood these hardships and created furniture that is easy to breakdown and build-up with just three simple steps. And what’s more fascinating about the venture is its creative possibilities. If you’re tired of the same desk in your dorm room, you can disassemble it and build a storage drawer, chest or mini-closet—the possibilities are infinite.
CRISSCROSS furniture is made from high-quality environment friendly material. According to the home site, the part packaging is 100% recyclable, and the wood is from sustainable FSC certified forests and natural plant-based wood waxes. There are several positive layers to the venture and Wrigley is eager to spread the mission, “We’re incredibly excited and proud to finally share CRISSCROSS Furniture with the world. We just hope everyone loves it as much as we do!”
There’s no question CRISSCROSS is on its way to impacting lives across the board and we’re ecstatic to watch it all unfold. To support the movement and get more information on the project visit crisscrossfurniture.com and follow the Instagram and Twitter pages.
