If you’ve been to the High Museum here in Atlanta these past couple of months, you’ve seen the large-scale sculptures that double as a playground for children by Jaime Hayon. His sculptures are full of fun and whimsy.
They immediately caught my eye the last time I was at the museum.
Hotel Barceló Torre De Madrid blends Spanish history with Modernist design, creating a vibrant and cultured aesthetic.
What I love the most about the Hotel Barceló Torre De Madrid is the way the bright colors complement each other without being too loud or over the top.
The color palette is unbelievable!
Since Spain is where Hayon was born and raised, this project was incredibly personal and close to his heart.
He states “I was fully dedicated to the creation of a very special and unique space that would represent a new vision of Spain, a vision far from the traditional aesthetic , aside from being my hometown, for me Madrid represents Spain’s diversity and richness.”
You can feel the love and energy put into each room. I’m planning a trip to Spain later this year, and I’m hoping to stay at the Hotel Barceló Torre De Madrid to see it’s beauty in person!
