HYPEWORTHY: Reebok & Les Mills’ Project Immersive Fitness

As someone who’s tried almost every trending form of fitness (yes- I’ve almost passed out from heat exhaustion in a Bikram Yoga class, and I may have taken a trampoline jumping class once or twice), finding a class that fits for you can be downright, well, tiring. With so many new workout programs coming and going, it can be difficult to find a class that you truly enjoy. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m constantly on the lookout for the perfect class. Immersive Fitness is that class.

The brainchild of Reebok and Les Mills, Immersive Fitness is unlike anything else out there in the fitness industry. Using a huge screen and fully responsive lighting, it’s like being thrown into your favorite video game, except your Player 1 in the midst of it all! Still not getting it? Check out this video to further understand Project Immersive Fitness:

With workouts like “The Trip” (cycling) class, or the BODYCOMBAT/LES MILLS GRIT (high intense interval training) class, Immersive Fitness has something for everyone. There’s even a class called “BODYJAM/BODYBALANCE” that creates the feeling of being at a music festival, dancing the day away with all of your favorite jams!

Immersive Fitness will be launching in a city near you, starting in the next year or so. Until then, keep up with the latest on Immersive Fitness, on their site or on their Instagram account.

The next level of fitness is here. IMMERSIVE FITNESS™ surrounds participants with cinema quality video content projected onto screens of a purpose-built studio.  Exercise moves synchronize perfectly with music and graphics, creating a truly immersive fitness experience. Learn more
