Last Sunday, First Taste ATL presented Skye’s Wonderland. It was an evening full of slow remixes, indie artists, low hanging clouds and monkeys and an array of performances by artists such as BOSCO, COMMAND, Chilly Chills and several DJs including DJ OHSO and DJ Speakerfoxx.
Hosted at QUAD, Skye’s Wonderland was an evening where Atlanta’s creative community came together, dressed in styles ranging from classic bucket hats and Tims to steampunk outfits and suits, to experience performances in the different sets crafted by Marina Skye. Fashioning four rooms of her own creation, Marina Skye’s set designs included giant alligators, elephants, imported sand and dirt, crabs, and much more. The designs were the foundation for a night of communal getting down. It was a night for individuals to come as they are, to experience new and different segments of Atlanta’s music and creative scene blended with hype performers while given the chance to network and vibe.
“Skye’s Wonderland” was a night marking a new chapter of Atlanta’s nightlife. First Taste ATL’s events provided just that, “a first taste” to a fresh new series of events that will be happening within the city. The night was the best of the fashion, music, and creative segments of Atlanta’s social scene.
