Every bride wants her wedding to be perfect. From the invitations to the end of the reception, you want everyone to enjoy your special day. The only problem is that most things involving a wedding are quite expensive. If you’re on a strict wedding budget, you can still have a fantastic celebration of your love.

There are many ways to make your wedding day memorable without spending your last dime. By taking the time to add a few personal details, you can make even the most mundane things seem magical. Let’s take a look at ways to make your wedding day a day to remember for all your guests.

1. Wedding Invitations

Your wedding invitations are the first time your family and friends will hear of your upcoming nuptials. Why not get the celebration started at the beginning, with wedding invitations with photos of the happy couple?

It’s a lot easier than it sounds to create beautiful cards with pictures of your choice. I found a great site online that makes it as easy as one, two, three. First, you choose your card style. With so many choices, you can create photo cards for all the special occasions in your life.

Next, you add your text and pick your details, like color. Then, all that’s left to do is upload your digital pictures. Your photo wedding invitations will be on their way to you quickly, as soon as the next day.

2. Engraved Bridesmaid Gifts

You want to thank your bridesmaids for their support and friendship in a special way. A great way to make any gift more personal is to have it engraved. Many jewelry stores offer this service free when you purchase your gifts from them, so it won’t cost a thing to make their gift special.

A beautiful memento that isn’t too expensive is a sterling silver bracelet or pendant. A simple disc with their initial is elegant and can be worn on your wedding day and for the rest of their lives. Each time they wear it, they will think of the joyous day you got married.

3. Reception Guest Mementos

You can create reception gifts for all your guests quickly and easily. It shows how happy you are that they came to be a part of your wedding and offers everyone a heartfelt remembrance of your wedding day.

It’s easy to set up ahead of time if you have a seating arrangement. If so, just place a unique photo of you and your groom or you and the guest into a silver frame. Then put one at each guest’s spot at their table. You could wrap them up in colors from the wedding, for a special touch.

If you don’t have a seating chart, you can offer your guests one as they pass the receiving line or place a gift at each place. When your guests leave, they will know how much you appreciated them attending.

4. Reception Décor

You can put together a lovely reception area with a little help from the wedding party and save a lot of money. Put all thoughts of paper streamers and balloons out of your mind. Today’s DIY craze involves another level in materials, with shiny foil fabrics and silky fabric that drapes beautifully over chairs and tables.

You don’t have to be rich to take the time to show your loved ones how special they are to you on your wedding day.
