MIAMI SPICE: The Summer’s Most Exciting Culinary Experience

Written by S.Renée

Every year, food lovers in South Florida are treated to an opportunity to try some of the best restaurants the city has to offer at incredibly low prices! Miami Spice is a two month promotion showcasing the very best of Miami cuisine. Organized by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Miami Spice brings together the city’s best chefs and restaurants in support of one major goal: showing why Miami’s culinary experience is world renowned and award-winning.

Taking place August 1 – September 30, 170 restaurants all throughout Miami are featuring events, happy hours, and the main deal: lunch & dinner specials for all that wish to participate. Miami’s top restaurants are offering three-course meals in an experience unlike any other in town. Luxury restaurants are offering three-course prix-fixe lunch at $23 per person, dinner at $39. Fine dining restaurants are featuring menus at $19 for lunch, $33 for dinner. All Miami Spice menus include an appetizer, entrée and dessert as part of the fixed price, excluding tax and gratuities. Patrons are allowed to select which restaurants they’d like to try when they sign up.

Miami Spice is definitely the event to attend if you’re into food and would love to try something new without breaking your pockets. Even the priciest of restaurants participate, allowing for people who may not have tried a particular spot due to budget restrictions to venture into the upper echelon of Miami cuisine. Go alone, or bring a friend or 10, large groups are welcomed here. And what would dinner be without dessert? You get it all here – definitely worth every penny.
