Minute Motivation: The Power of Connecting

Written by Danasia Fantastic

Recently, I’ve been thinking about how important it is to connect with others. These days, with social media being such an everyday part of our lives, I think we forget how important it is to connect with each other in person. Whether it’s meeting a fellow blogger for coffee and brainstorming ideas or catching up over drinks with a girlfriend, human to human in person connection is vital to our lives. I find that when I’m able to make these connections, I leave feeling inspired and motivated.

I challenge you to connect with someone this week!

Below are some quotes to get you inspired to connect with someone this week:

“We need to play each others instruments.”- Steven Johnson

“Maybe we are not here to see each other but to see each other through.”- Anonymous

“A person wrapped up in himself makes a small package.”-Harry Emerson Fosdick

“Many ideas grow better when transplanted into another mind than in the one where they sprung up.”- Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

“The only people who can own social learning are the individuals who themselves are learning each day, from one another, based on their work and in the flow of work.”- Marcia Conner

“When minds meet, they don’t just exchange facts: they transform, reshape them, draw different implications from them, engage in new trains of thought.”- Theodore Zeldin
