Philadelphia Events for Summer 2013

Philly has tons of events going on everyday throughout the year. Here are a few you should check out this summer! (Click on the event title to be linked to the website for more details):

What: Kick off Summer with Aoki Boutique and Spodee Wine!

When: Friday June 14 from 7-9

Where: Aoki Boutique, 115 S. 22nd Street

Live Music, Drinks by Spodee Wine, 10% off all-store purchases, and a chance to win a Jessica DeCarlo necklace valued at $100: Spodee Wine and Aoki Boutique want to help you #getlucky this summer! One guest at the summer kick off event will have a chance to win this gold horseshoe necklace (by Jessica DeCarlo, valued at $100) by instagramming their experience at the party! What: Wawa Welcome America

When: Thursday, July 4th

Where: Benjamin Franklin Parkway, 20th Street to Eakins Oval 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.

What: XpoNential Music Festival

When: July 26th-28th

Where: Wiggins Park in Camden, NJ

What: Mad Decent Block Party

When: Saturday, July 27th

Where: The Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing – Columbus Boulevard bet. Market & Walnut St.

What: Philadelphia Caribbean Festival

When: Sunday, August 18th, noon- 8 pm

Where: The Great Plaza, Penn’s Landing, Columbus Blvd. and Chestnut Street

Island Cuisine, Caribbean marketplace, and music.

 

What: 5th Annual Philly Naked Bike Ride, August 25th:

When: Sunday, August 25th

Where: Philadelphia

Ride through the city… naked.

 

What: Budweiser’s Made In America Festival

When: Saturday, August 31st- Sunday, September 1st

Where: Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia
