If you’ve spent time on my blog or social channels in the last six months, I’m sure you’ve seen me talk about my love for Hive smart products. Well, buckle up because they just released a new product that has been a total game-changer for me, and I can’t wait to tell you about it!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Hive smart products, let me give you the deets: the Hive family of smart products and services connect your home and make daily living a little easier. It allows you to control your thermostat, lights and appliances all from an app on your smartphone. You can use the award-winning Hive app or Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT. Since I started using Hive smart products in July, it has saved me hundreds of dollars on my electric and heating bills- what’s not to love?

hive-view-camera-review Launched this year, Hive View is an indoor camera that allows you to watch your home right from you smart phone! This smart camera allows you to livestream your home day or night in 1080p HD directly to your phone or tablet. The camera comes equipped with a wide 130 degree view. You can even get alerts when your camera detects motion, sound or even people! The camera comes standard with 24 hours of camera playback or you can opt for 30-day history for up to two cameras at the ridiculously low cost of $5.99 a month (when you purchase the camera, you get a free month trial of the 30-day history). You can mount the camera or leave it on its stand. I opted for the black and rose gold camera- it looks like a work of art. Seriously, it’s the most aesthetically pleasing camera I’ve ever seen.

hive-view-camera-reviewMy kitchen is all black with silver appliances and gold decor, so it blends in perfectly! I love that the camera can be moved from room to room too! Thankfully, since we have a loft, I can place it on the top rail our our bedroom and overlook the living room with ease.

hive-view-camera-reviewWhen I first got the Hive View, I figured I would position it on our stairwell to keep an eye on the front door. Sadly, our dog Jane passed this week, so I’ve been using it to keep an eye on our other dog Humphrey when I have to go to the grocery store or run an errand. Words cannot express to you the peace of mind that I feel being able to see him while I’m away from our home. This is such a tough time for us right now, and he’s taking it especially hard since he grew up with her. The Hive View allows me to see if he’s getting restless or destructive. The moment he’s doing either, I know it’s time for me to head back to the house. I’ve never been so grateful for a device like this before.

If you too, want to experience comfort and ease in your home then you have to get Hive smart products. I never knew how invaluable being able to see into my home while I’m gone would be. To purchase Hive Home click here.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Hive. The opinions and text are all mine.
