Atlanta artist Kota (otherwise known as naKota) has released his new single “Want” today on SoundCloud. Kota’s genre-bending style of newer-wave, electronic pop is just as catchy as it is fresh. “Want” is an up-tempo, danceable track with dark overtones that sounds like nothing Atlanta has ever produced. With tinges of soulful, R&B-esque vocals mixed with electro-punk-like swagger and morphed voices, “Want” feels like a glimpse into the future of the post-club era (or something along those lines).
