The design firm Biasol took my breath away with their latest project The Budapest Cafe.
Located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, The Budapest Cafe’s design is inspired by none other than Wes Anderson. As a huge Wes Anderson fan (if you haven’t seen any of his movies you are truly missing out!), this place stuck out to me immediately!
I’m in love with the look of this place! Biasol hit the nail on the head when they took different shades of green, white and pink to create this colorful, yet minimalistic space.
The light mint green is so calming, while the bursts of pink are fine and inviting. The gorgeous marble countertop is the icing on the cake.
I’ve never been a huge fan of the green and pink color combination until now!
My favorite part of this space would have to be the speckled pink terrazzo bathrooms. They add an incredibly amount of playfulness and whimsy to the cafe.
If you’re ever in Chengdu, be sure to check The Budapest Cafe out!
