The Insanely Stunning Vallarta Botanical Gardens

The Vallarta Botanical Gardens is definitely worth the trek (they’re located about 35 minutes outside of the city). It was one of my favorite stops on our Hidden Mexico Tour, where we visited Puerto Vallarta’s southern mountain region. The garden has the largest orchid collection than any other Mexican State. The scenery was beautiful and full of rich, vibrant colors, fountains full of Koi fish and some of the most stunning greenhouses I have ever seen. There’s one section of the greenhouse that has a small library and a white winding staircase that leads to the top of the room. It’s so gorgeous.

In addition to all of the pretty flowers, there is, hands down, one of the most adorable chapels I have ever seen located at the botanical gardens. The chapel is blush pink and white, and it honestly looks like something straight from a Wes Anderson film.

I highly recommend checking out the Vallarta Botanical Gardens next time you get a chance to visit Puerto Vallarta.

I couldn’t pass on taking a photo of these face planters.

Shooting my best friend Glynn, shooting the amazing greenhouse.
My favorite part of the greenhouse.
