When it comes to fashion, fall is by far my favorite season. I’m sure growing up in Philadelphia where the leaves change to bright oranges and reds has a lot to do with that. Fall always meant the start of a new school year, which I was secretly always excited about. It also meant new school clothes. Fast forward a number of years, and I’m still thrilled about going shopping for new attire in the fall.
I personally believe that no fall wardrobe is complete without a good pair of ankle boots. After hunting around for what felt like an eternity, I finally found a pair of boots I’m absolutely in love with this season. The Free People Flying Ranch Boot is the perfect combination of boho and city chic. The hand-stitched snake skin leather contrasts so well with the sturdy brown leather, that it really makes the shoe pop. What I love most about this shoe is that it looks as edgy as it does classic. The zippers on each side of the shoe make it feel a little more urban than your typical western style boot. Since I tend to dress casually, it’s the perfect shoe to add a little pizzazz to my everyday wardrobe.
If you’re looking for a versatile ankle boot, I definitely recommend this one from Free People. If you’re looking for something a little different, be sure to check out their other shoes from their latest fall collection here.
