Ontario is an area in Canada that has a lot to offer. This stunning part of the country is full of plenty of activities, scenery, and culture that make it an ideal place to visit at any time of the year for a fun filled holiday. Ontario is certainly and amazing place to visit, and today we are going to take a look at some of the reasons why you should visit this year.

1. It has Thousands of Gorgeous Lake.

If you love a lakeside view and waterside wildlife, there is no shortage of opportunities for an amazing trip in Ontario. There are 250,000 lakes in Ontario spanning the whole area, and it means that you can enjoy lake after lake and get lost in the natural beauty of the landscape. Lake Eire pours into Niagara Falls, and Lakes such as Huron are amazing choices for kayaking and sailing. There are so many options and ways to spend your day, so you’ll never get bored and struggle for things to do.

2. The Great Outdoors.

Canada is starkly different to its southern cousin, and the main difference is the wealth of outdoor spaces just waiting to be explored and enjoyed. Ontario in particular has some amazing outdoor spaces to explore and there are plenty of activities you can enjoy. Head over to the Blue Mountains for a hike of a lifetime, and go ice-skating on the frozen Rideau Canal. Once you head to this part of the world you’ll forever want to get lost in its beauty.

3. It’s A Photographer’s Fantasy

One of the things that many people say about both Canada and Alaska is that they are photogenic countries. If you love stunning landscapes and beautiful natural landmarks Canada is a place you’ll love. When driving from Toronto to the smaller towns in the region you will be able to see the true beauty of the countryside first hand. There are plenty of places to stop at the side of the road to take snaps, and you’ll have perfect canvas candidates when you get home.

4. There’s a Ton of Wildlife.

Ontario boasts a lot of amazing things, but one of the most impressive and exciting of all has to be the wildlife. If you love animals, Ontario will give you the perfect opportunity to enjoy close encounters with a myriad of creatures. There are rabbits, snakes, hummingbirds, deer, moose, wolves and many more. You’ll always have the chance to encounter and enjoy the company of something new here.

5. The People Are Friendly.

One of the main things that can be said about Canada is the people are so relaxed that they are practically horizontal. When you come here and enjoy a trio with your family you’ll be able to see a whole new side of living and a relaxed lifestyle like no other.

6. It’s a Foodie’s Paradise.

Ontario is known for a lot of things, and one of these things is comfort food. Heading over to one of the many restaurants in the area such as Chuck’s Roadhouse , you’ll be able to enjoy steaks and burgers that warm the cockles. As well as this, the unique microclimate in Niagara makes for some amazing wine production. Canadian wine is wonderful and it is well worth spending some money on a good bottle to drink by the fire.
