MEET DANASIA
TheUrbanRealist was founded by journalist and creative entrepreneur Danasia Fantastic in Spring 2013. She relaunched it in March 2026 with a renewed focus on wellness, travel, and culture for the endlessly curious.
She’s spent her career exploring how cities, spaces, and experiences shape the way we live.
Danasia has been featured on GirlBoss, ELLE Magazine, POPSUGAR, USAToday, and Atlanta Magazine. She is also a former content producer for The Travel Channel and HGTV.
